Get – Fri Nov 25th 7pm till 9pm in your diary now!
The Women’s Playgroup’s is hosting a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party! And you are invited!
Come dressed as your favorite Alice In Wonderland Character*, play some games, have a cup of tea, make some new friends…
What we’ll be doing…
Cakes & tea!!!! plus….
Hellos – we will start in the fairy ring (basically a big circle of happy bum floor cushions but you can have a chair if your bum’s happy higher) Don’t worry quietlings, no one will be asked to introduce themselves, I will give everyone a sticky name tag (so you can just point to it if you are very nervous of public speaking and someone asks your name.) As the groups go on, we will all naturally get to know each other…
GAMES!!! – Pass the Parcel, pin the tail on the doormouse, musical statues!
Wordplay – We’ll be decorating a board on the theme of WONDERLAND. You also have the opportunity in this time to write your own wonderland story/poem/play for our #WPGSundayShortStories and Women of the Wild anthology.
Crafty time – for those who want something different we have crafty time. This month is Mad Hats & Teacups!
Don’t fancy either… there will be plenty of themed books to read, mindfulness colouring-in books to be enjoyed, or you can relax in our fairy den (naps are always lovely)
Goodbyes – we come together at 9pm to say our goodbyes, we will finish with the traditional send-off song, ‘in and out the fairy bluebells.’ which I will sing loudly and badly (all are welcome to join in to drown me out.)
If you would like to come, but have a worry, query, or special need stopping you please contact me and I’ll see if I can make anything easier for you.
Can’t wait to see you there!
Oh if you are free in October come to our Which Witch workshop too!
